The Frankfurt Book Fair / Frankfurter Buchmesse is the world’s largest trade fair for books, based on the number of publishing companies represented, as well as the number of visitors. It is held annually in mid-October at the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

About Robert Farber
Robert Farber’s style has influenced generations of photographers. His painterly, impressionistic style captures the essence of composition in every genre, including nudes, still life, landscapes and architecture. His ten photo art books have sold over half a million copies.

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis brought Farber into Doubleday for the publication of his book “By The Sea,” which won the Art Director’s Award for color photography. Aside from numerous creative awards, Robert Farber also received the Photographer of the Year from PMA (Photographic Manufacturers Association), ASP International Award from the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and The American Society of Photographers. This award was given to those who’ve made a significant contribution to the science and art of photography. Some previous recipients of this award include Dr. Edwin Land (inventor of the Polaroid), George Hurrell, and National Geographic.

Robert Farber’s style has helped influence a generation of photographers through vast public exposure of his work. His seven coffee table books have sold just under half a million copies. Sixty of his images have been published as posters and distributed worldwide. His “By the Sea” book won the Art Director’s award for color photography. Farber’s fine art photographs have been published in virtually every form. His work has been exhibited internationally. He lectures widely at museums and universities and for professional groups. Farber’s commercial work includes major campaigns for fashion, beauty, and advertising clients. His editorial and advertising work has appeared in most major magazines in the United States and abroad. Farber received the “Photographer of the Year” award in 1987 from the Photographic Manufacturers Association (PMA). In 1995 he received the ASP International Award, given by the Professional Photographers of America and the American Society of Photographers to photographers who have made a significant contribution to the science and art of photography.

About Vinko Mario Prizmic
Vinko Mario Prizmic is the only vagabond in the world, who has traveled to 5 continents with his own coffin. The first coffin was named Something Better, created by German artist Niki Boden, the second one named Something Better Jr., and the third one called Something Better, a foldable creation by USA artist M.S.Brill. Very soon his metaphysical fairy tale performance will come to its 6th continent. This December it travels to Buenos Aires, Argentina!

Poor Poet will be exhibiting again this year at the famous Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany. The Frankfurt Book Fair is a meeting place for the industry’s experts. Be they publishers, booksellers, agents, film producers or authors – each year in October, they all come together and create something new. It’s the most important marketplace for books, media, rights and licences worldwide. More than 7,300 exhibitors from 100 countries, 299,000 visitors and over 10,000 journalists.
